Playgroup
The staff and Trustees of Bridge Village Playgroup are delighted to announce that the pre-school has been rated as Outstanding by Ofsted in its recent inspection in March 2023. Even better, we have been awarded an Outstanding grade in all of the 4 areas that are inspected.
The inspector found “a bubbly and lively environment where all children flourish”. “Leadership within the playgroup is exceptionally strong” and “partnerships with parents are exceptional”.

Bridge Village Playgroup is an Outstanding childcare setting based in Bridge Village Hall, where it has operated for over 40 years. We provide a friendly, safe, and stimulating environment for children aged 2 to 5 to enjoy their early years of education.
We believe strongly in the importance of play, and support all the children in their development through exploring, investigating, creating, and communicating and the children’s individual needs and interests are nurtured and extended.
We are a charity run by a committee of volunteers.
