Spring Term 2025

We have been looking at the story of 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. The children have tried a variety of different fruit that the caterpillar eats in the story. They have been playing with insects and hunting for bugs with tweezers and magnifying glasses. We made our own pictures of caterpillars and beautiful butterflies. 

Autumn Term 2024

We have watched the leaves change colour as we have walked around the village. We collected conkers and rolled them in paint to make marble patterns. We have painted leaves, made leaf wreaths, used wax crayons to make leaf rubbings and made autumn trees using crushed leaves. We made clay hedgehogs and used leaves to decorate hedgehogs. We have ended the term by celebrating Halloween, making pumpkins, skeletons, spiders and ghost crafts. The children also hollowed out a pumpkin and made potions.
